Busy, Busy, Busy

We had a great 4th of July.   The day started out rough because Sasha was very emotional & was challenging us on everything.   We decided to pack up & head out to the local
Kentwood pancake breakfast.  Neither girl ate much, but we did!    We then went to a parade & a festival in Cascade that had elephants.  The girls had a blast & everything was FREE, how cool is that!   Sasha loved all the inflatable jumpers & slides, she even rode a horse.   Sadie was afraid of the horse, but loved to look at them.     We then went out to lunch & napped.    After naps we went to another festival in
East Grand Rapids.  That one was just ok, but is was free & this time Sadie got into the inflatable slide----we had a hard time getting her off & she created quite a scene.    We then went for ice cream on our way to yet another festival.    The last one was in
Kentwood & the girls had a ton of fun.   We got there when they opened, so we were able to ride on anything we wanted with no lines.  This time Sadie loved the horse ride & we couldn’t get her off the jumper thing, Tom had to go in after her (so funny).       We then had to drag her to the car---not fun!     Needless to say the girls had dinner & then we put Sadie to bed.    We let Sasha stay up for her first firework’s show.  She loved them & said they were beautiful.  We are lucky that you can see most of them from the church across the street (you don’t even have to leave our subdivision), so Tom took her there after we enjoyed a little fire work show in the neighborhood.Today we stayed home to recover!    Tom started painting the house & the girls hung out & played.    Sadie was super loving all day, well except the 2 times she bit Sasha.    Sasha was moody from lack of sleep.     She even told me that I couldn’t change her poopy diaper because I wasn’t her best friend—lol   Yeah, she is still not 100% potty trained.   She is resisting it for some reason.    Sadie loves the potty, too bad she doesn’t get that you are supposed to pee in it!
