Yesterday while Sasha was supposed to be having quite time, I was lying down watching a show. I heard her door open, shut & then heard her run downstairs & back up. The next thing I knew she was standing next to me holding tape & her scissors telling me that we have to fix her wall. Of course I was dreading find out what that meant! I walked into her room & saw the roll of border that I had in her drawer partially ripped apart, not a good thing! When she was about 2, she had torn the border off her wall (the border we had just put up for her “new room”). I had then ordered some extra to replace the damaged parts & we hadn’t put that up that yet, wanting make sure she didn’t pull it off the wall again. We have been talking about fixing it, so she decided to start the project---lol I just hope we have enough to fix it now!
This morning Sadie made me laugh with her new found conversation skills. I opened her door…
Me: “good morning”Sadie: “hi mama”Me: “do you want to nurse”Sadie: “yeah, sure”Me: “did daddy snuggle with you last night”Sadie: “sure”
Doesn’t she sound like a teenager already!
The girls in are in the kitchen playing “soup”. They are pretending to sneeze, so they need to “eat” their soup (cardboard game pieces in a bowl) to feel better. So funny & how cute that they are playing together.
A bit later I said “thank you” to Sasha for something she did. Her reply “it’s my pleasure mama”.
