Last night I was telling her a story about a princess (her) who had magical powers & could ward off monsters with her magic wand & by sprinkling magic dust all over. I then went on to tell her that Daddy & I had sprinkled some of that very same magic dust allover our yard & house (hoping that this would help her sleep through the night & get over her monster fear).. Her response: “that’s just silly Mommy”
Then today I was sitting on the sofa trying to watch 15 minutes of “grown-up” TV. She sat down & said “this is about two women, just like us, we are two women Mama”. I was laughing my butt off! This is why I must journal, it is moments like these that come & go ---- I need to capture them!
