In case this is the first time reading our blog...
I haven't blogged for a week. I keep meaning to sit down, but life has been busy. All summer I have been journaling on a regular basis, so missing a few days seems weird. I feel like I have missed telling all of you about how cute the girls have been!
We have been working really hard on getting the site up & running. We now have pictures from April-Sept. 2007 installed. We took a huge summer break, so these are all new to you. We will now be able to stay current because this system is sooooo much easier! We will also be adding all the past pictures & journals (a little at a time). Huge warning, the pictures do take a bit of time to load because we have a ton of them.
WOW!!! Sadie is 26 months today! We are still nursing. I nursed Sasha for 16 months, 5 months of that was while I was pregnant with Sadie. That is 42 months of nursing with only a 4 month break; which hardly counts, since I was pregnant! My goal is to wean Sadie by the end of the year (sooner would be great).
This past week was exhausting. Sadie is just not sleeping well, none of us are. I even took her to the Dr. for a suspected UTI. The test in the office was clear, but she still seems off. They did send it to the lab, I will have to call the office in a minute. It could be tooth, but I am not convinced.
Tom is STILL painting the house. Note to all with Tudor style homes *hire painters*. He does it when he can, but the weather & the girls have made it difficult. It is looking really nice though! We will post some picture when it is done, but you can see the back of the house in Sadie's b-day pics. It is green with cream trim. The color comes from the Graham Paint historical paint selection, so it has been in use for well over a 100 years.
Sasha is loving preschool & we are very happy with St. Mark. She is so cute & can't wait to go. She is in a 4 year old class that is mixed with young 5's kindergarten (they spend half the time together & then divide up for part of the class). She is the youngest, being 3 still; but they had an opening & took her. We are happy that she is in with older kids & that she is able to learn more. If she were in the public school system, she would be in the 3 year old class because her b-day is after Dec. 1st (the cut-off date).
Sadie also loves school & when I drop her off she never looks back, silly girl. She goes every Friday to the same place Sasha went last year. They are so incredible. I recommend them to everyone with kids 2-4!
Well I would love to sit here all day & write, but Sadie is jumping on the sofa. I guess I better go be a Mom...
