Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & all that Jazz!

I am such a slacker!    I haven't posted since Dec. 12th.    In my posting hiatus, we have covered quite a few major events.

First of all MY BABY  TURNED 4!!!    I still can't believe it!    Sasha's b-day party was on her actual birthday (12/23).   Of course Mother Nature decided to bless us with a blizzard.    Pretty much everyone came to the party, but we did miss a few friends due to the weather.

Some funny moments at the party were:

Christmas/New Years:  We had a very crazy & busy holiday this year.   My mom was in the hospital & we had too many places to be in a very short time (we didn't even make it to all of them).   In hind site (isn't that always the way?) we realized that having Sasha b-day bash the day before Christmas Eve was a big mistake---lol      The girls were tired before the Christmas festivities had even started.       We still had a nice time, but we realized that while our little people seem to have endless energy----they really don't & eventually they *will* crash & burn.    Too many parties & many, many presents later we finally took a break & got some much needed rest over the New Year!    By the way... We are contemplating going to Disney this year ----lol

The "New Year":   So far this year we have been busy going to school, MOPS, playgroups &  being sick!       Why is it that sickness seems to roll from person to person & feeling like it will never end?

Some cute or not so cute things:

Sasha:

• Sasha is a girl & girls wear DRESSES & SKIRTS *periord*.    Yes, she has to always be "pretty".   This past Saturday she went to a b-day party.    I told her that they would do gym type things, but she insisted on wear her new dress with matching tights.    On the way home from the party she was crying because she had holes in both knees &  wanted to know if I could sew them.    Tom pretty much told her I couldn't, so she wanted him to call me to buy more----lol


• She is obsessed with doing art projects.    She constantly has to be painting, drawing, gluing, glittering....    We ended up getting her the Fisher Price DigiArts studio for her b-day & she  is in love!      She is on a creating frenzy & even made me a "best mommy" crown today!

Sadie:

• Sadie ate a small toy plate to our Little Pony House the other day.
  I was putting away towels & when I came into the family room she said "hurts mama". When I asked her about it she told me what she had done. Now when you ask her about where the pony plate is, she says "my belly"? She has pooped a few times, but I was too grossed out to look for it? It was bright yellow, so you would think that it would "jump out" at you    She seemed fine & it wasn't magnetic, so I didn't call the Dr.

I am *sure* that I missed some really cute things.   Everyday is an adventure!
