Well...Here is the letter I sent out in our Christmas Cards. I do have some really cute stories that I will add later this week!
December 2008
Seasons Greetings Dear Family & Friends, We hope all of you are doing well & enjoying the holidays! Since we haven’t been great about updating our blog this year, we have decided to write a letter let you know what we have been up to.
Sasha~
- This spring she graduated from 4-year-old preschool, where she did extremely well.
- She attended a summer gymnastic preschool program where she learned all kinds of cool moves & learned about staying healthy.
- We found out that she has an astigmatism & needs glasses. She is still getting use to them & only wears them when she is in the mood.
- This fall she started young 5’s kindergarten. We just had her conferences & she received all “A’s”. She is truly a wonderful student & loves to learn.
- She also loves arts & crafts. She would work on art projects all day if you let her!
- She is also very excited about turning 5 years old (12-23) & celebrating with her friends at her Build-A-Bear birthday party!
Sadie~
- This past year she has grown so much. She is no longer our “baby”!
- She finally stopped nursing at 33 months.
- We celebrated her 3rd birthday (8-15) with a zoo themed party, at her request & she loved it!
- She found her “words” & you can actually understand her 95% of the time.
- We are still working on using the “big girl” potty, but we are almost there!
- This fall she started 3-year-old preschool. She loves it & would go every day if she could.
On a final note, we will be going to Disney World for Christmas. Since we will be there on Sasha’s birthday, we will be having breakfast at Cinderella’s castle. It will be a magical time for sure!!
Happy Holidays, Tom & Kimberly Grimes
In January, look for our Disney Pictures on our blog.
