Some highlights...
- We celebrated Sasha's birthday & Christmas with family early on Dec. 13th & after everyone left, Sasha said that she had everything she needed & that Santa could skip our house this year---lol
- Because we were driving to Disney, we had to leave a day early to beat the bad weather that was heading towards MI. We made it & spent 4 days getting there. Warning to those with young kids, driving should be the last option. The girls did OK, but got very antsy despite dvd's & art supplies.
- Disney was a blast.
- We spent Sasha's b-day (Dec 23rd) at Magic Kingdom & had breakfast at Cinderella's Castle (The Royal Table Breakfast). We met all the princesses & the girls were giddy with excitement.
- The girls had their first roller coaster ride & loved it!
- Sasha braved Splash Mountain & Briar Rabbit. She freaked out a bit during the big splash, but said she wants to do it again--lol (Here is a video of the last little bit).
- Santa left half of our presents at our condo & half at home---what a cleaver man he is! We ended up with two "Christmas mornings".
- Sasha loved the pool----a big surprise becuse in the past she has been afraid. She felt brave with her swimmies & hot pink tube.
- Sadie loved the pool too & was fearless as always.
- At Animal Kingdom, the girls loved the Safari.
- At Hollywood Studios, the girls LOVED the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" play area.
- Unfortunately, Tom got pneumonia while at Disney & as of today ( Jan. 7th ) is still in recovery (hopefully he will feel better soon).
- The girls are back in school & slowly but surely we are getting back into our routine.
- Sasha may have a loose tooth! She said it hurt, so I tried to wiggle it & it seemed to move a bit. She freaked out when I was doing it, so I may have imagined it moving--lol
Thanks for taking a peek!
We hope to get the pics uploaded very soon!
