Because I was busy, we didn't send out as many cards this year! Here is our "year-end" in review for December 2009...
Seasons Greetings Family & Friends,
We hope all of you are doing well & enjoying the holidays! We have been pretty good about
updating our blog this year, so we will just post a few highlights to let you know what we have
been up to.
Sasha~
•This spring she graduated from young 5’s kindergarten At St. Mark, where she did
extremely well.
•This fall she started kindergarten at Dutton Elementary. It was a difficult beginning
because she got sick & she was having a hard time adjusting to the schedule (2 full & 1
half days). She is now in the groove & doing great!
•We just had her conferences & she received all “A’s”. She is truly a wonderful student
& loves to learn.
•She still loves arts & crafts. She would work on art projects all day if you let her!
•She is also very excited about turning 6 years old (12-23). We just celebrated with a
“Tinker Bell” themed party.
Sadie~
•This spring Sadie graduated from 3 yr preschool. We were sad to leave Enchanted
Forest because both girls went there for a long time. We started in 2006 when Sasha was 2!
•We celebrated her 4th birthday (8-15) with a “My Little Pony” themed party, she loved it!
•This fall she started 4 yr preschool at St. Mark.
•We just had her conferences & she received all “A’s”. She also loves school & is a little
social butterfly!
On a final note…
To mark the beginning of the Holiday Season, we took the girls to see the ‘Twas the Night
Before Christmas ballet. Sadie has been dancing around the house & around her school, so
we knew she would love it & she did! Sasha was also mesmerized by all the dancers. It was a wonderful production that had dancing mice, stockings & toys, in addition to the characters in
the story. Some of the dancers were smaller than the girls!
Gotta love the magic of the season!
Happy Holidays!!!
Love,
Tom, Kimberly, Sasha & Sadie Grimes
