Sadie accidentally hit Sasha with a book. Tom saw it, so he knows it wasn't intentional. Anyway, she hit the tooth that Sasha damaged when she was around 21-22 months. Her top right central incisor (big front one). It had a bruise on it & looked like she never brushed her teeth. We still aren't sure if her permanent tooth is damaged or not. Now with this happening I am worried all over. It is weird how hitting baby tooth can do damage, but the dentist told us to be prepared.
When Sadie hit it, it popped down lower then Sasha's tooth line & it was bleeding like crazy. Before this happened, it was a little loose; but, not ready to come out. She couldn't eat & was freaking out. She wouldn't let us near it for a solid 90 minutes & cried so hard that she ended up with a huge headache. We were finally able to pull it out about 2 hours after it happened. She went straight to bed without eating anything. She ended up having bad dreams, poor muffin.
The Tooth Fairy gave her a $10 Build-A-Bear card because she had such a hard time. She was so cute & asked if she could use the card to buy something for her doll Mary Lynn. We told her that we would "buy" her card from her, so she would have the $10 for doll stuff :)
I now have to run to Target in my sweats (read no shower) to buy Mary Lynn a sleeping bag.
On a side note, Sadie is doing perfect somersaults! We are supposed to go to the pool today (if we can find our gear that Daddy misplaced) & she told me that she would be doing them in the water too. I asked her if she had before & her replay was "no, but it's worth a try".
UPDATE: Our local Target DID NOT HAVE THE doll kit, even though they said they did. I found it at another Target, so now I have to run over there.
