Girl Scout Camp...

Today was Girl Scout Camp for Sasha. I helped her unit & Sadie was in the sibling group. Both girls had a blast. I am excited to get them involved in the Daisy's this year (Brownies for the younger girls). We tried to with Sasha last year, but something happened & I never connected with the troupe leader.

Tomorrow is day 2. It is going to be HOT. I hope I survive, lol.

So, of course Tom is out of town again. He always is when life gets crazy. Then is is just me. All. By. Myself.---NO HELP! Did he not realized that I was going to be around 10 little girls ALL DAY, not to mention all the other ones around the camp?

We had errands to run after camp. We got home & they would not come in. They needed to visit the neighbor boy. He does not like playing outside, so in they went in his house for 15 minutes. Sasha came home to work on an art project, but Sadie refused to come in. What a pain. I needed to cook dinner & I can't leave her alone in the front yard.

So after being with kids all day, my night so far has gone like this...
The girls DID NOT want to stop playing.
Fits over me not letting them put sand & water in the sand & water table at 6:45pm.
Fits over showers to rinse away the sand, sunscreen & bug spray.
Fits over only allowing 1 whole show & a 15 minute show.
Fits over 1 story because it was late (8 pm-ish & THE TOILET OVER FLOWED).

Yes, the girls toilet over flowed & we had a pee fountain.
It sat with towels soaking it up while I got them in bed (the joys, lol).

They are now in their own beds singing.
I am on guard at the door, typing this.
I am also on my 3rd load of laundry since we have been home.
I am trying to get stains out a Sasha’s camp shirt, to wear tomorrow (washed twice). I also had to wash my shirt, a separate load because it is dark green. My 4th load will be the lovely pee towels.

I hope to eat dinner a snack before bed.

Thank goodness there are only two days of camp!
Really though, they had fun & that is what counts!
