She is begging me to pull it out. Begging! I said no yesterday & I said no today. It is loose, but not ready to come out on it's own. I asked her if it hurt & she said it bothered her. I told her to keep wiggling it. She has already lost 7 teeth, so it's not a new thing. She then told me that it's not just the tooth or the Tooth Fairy money, she wants her name on the tooth board at school. Apparently, there is a contest and whoever has their name on there the most wins a prize at the end of the year. I get it & I don't. Losing teeth is natural, you can't or at least you shouldn't force it. I'm sure the teacher has good intentions, trying to turn a scary thing (losing a tooth) into something fun. Some kid has his name on the list three time. I told her she already lost, so why rush #8, it will come out when it is supposed to.
ETA...She is working hard at getting it out. The Tooth Fairy may be visiting tonight!
