No Power

Today we were without power.   Our neighborhood looked like a tornado went through it, but it was just really high winds that whipped through!    Trees were down everywhere, in yards, ON houses & cars!  It was CRAZY!     I should have snapped some pics earlier, many have started the clean-up & it doesn't look as bad.

We were so lucky, that our house wasn't damaged!    The power was off for hours, so we moved some of our food in our outside fridge to coolers with ice towards the end of the day.  We still had gas, so I cooked up some fresh meat, so it wouldn't go bad.    The power came back on much earlier then we we expected, so again we were very lucky!    It is pretty humid out there!

To keep the girls occupied we played games, read & then went to the movies to see Judy Moody & the Not So Bummer Summer!   It was cute & kept us cool & busy!     Sasha is having issues with a puking scene, it made her cry a bit tonight (good to see her germophobia is still kickin!). 

In other breaking news we were joking around & decided to call Sadie "Coco" last night.     The main reason is that she LOVES her hot coco (for inquiring minds, we serve Ovaltine here).   Tonight, she reminded me that her name was now "Coco", lol     I just realized that the name really fits her.   Like Coco Chanel, she is into clothes...her way!     It was just a joke, but it may stick!

Lastly, I need to UPDATE (April- July 4th)!!!    That is my big goal, to get caught up.   We are still having issues with our desktop, where all the pic are. UGH!

For now, I am off to get the kids to bed.   It has been a LONG day!
