Kimberly and I were thinking about replacing Sasha and Sadie's bathroom faucet since until today neither could turn it on by themselves. Well today after purchasing the new faucet and starting to work on the "Project" with Sasha; she finally figured out how to pull the faucet on. So now "we don't need a new faucet Daddy". Sasha now proad as can be runs and tells Mama all about it.
As most of you know Sasha is pretty strong willed and smart, so I tried to sell her on the idea of a "new and pretty" one... no deal. I then told her that we need the new faucet for Sadie... this seems to have worked for awhile. About 15 minutes later Sadie woke up from her nap and Sasha told Sadie that she could turn the water on and off for her, then Sasha asked Sadie if she wanted to keep the old faucet. Sadie still in her sleepy state said "uh-huh". Sasha with a very victorious look then tells me "See Daddy we don't need the new one."
At this point I think I will wait until they go to sleep and then replace it. I have an early morning tomorrow so can leave Kimberly to introduce the new faucet to Sasha.
