Fast forward to today: I was helping Sasha with her homework & looked up to see HAIR EVERYWHERE! Sadie decided to cut her hair it herself. I am in complete shock! It is REALLY bad. She will look like a boy, seriously. I was mean & told her that (it just popped out). She then thought she was going to turn into a boy & was hysterical. Sasha started crying freaked out that Sadie would look like a boy & asked me to only let Sadie wear dresses until her hair was grown out (so cute). I calmed them down, but we had a huge talk. Sasha has always been so good with scissors, crayons & all that stuff. They had both been cutting earlier, I was sitting right there & the scissors were in the box we keep them in. She was watching a movie, so while Sasha & I were talking she quietly got them out & went to work. Her hair looks like a bad 80's Flock of Seagulls cut.
I old them both that they could only use scissor at the kitchen table (not at their little project table) with mommy or daddy present. Sasha's said ok, but that she would never cut her hair like that becuse she didn't like boy hair. Her final comment was that her hair still looked beautiful, lol.
I will add photos in a bit!
