Tom has been in CA & it has just been "the girls". Overall it has been fine, but Sadie is sick & Sasha gave me grief about bedtime---2 out of 3 nights! I'm ready for a little break, even if it is to grocery shop (the glamour of a being a mom, lol).

We were leaving for school & Sadie was in the van. She was was teasing Sasha saying she beat her to the car & was singing "nah-nah-nah-nah-boo-boo". Sasha turned to her & said "Sadie, you are being boastful". She totally made me crack up! I asked her if they were talking about that at school & she said yes. I told her she was right & I told Sadie that we shouldn't tease someone if we win a race. Sasha then said, it's just like the "Tortoise & the Hare". I was pretty impressed. Looks like she does pay attention to someone, not me; but, someone ;)
Yesterday was warm (55 degrees), so I opened a few windows & turned off the heat. It was great to get some fresh air. Well, this morning we got up & were freezing because I forgot to turn the heat back on & it is 36 degrees outside. Sadie is still sleeping, so I said to Sasha to wrap up in a blanket until it gets warm. She turns to me & said "see, I told you we need a "snuggie". We were just talking about the weather while she was doing her dot-to-dots & she said it was going to rain. I said she was right & then she said that she hopes the rain storm isn't too bad & that daddy can drive through it safely. She really misses him! So cute :)
