Sadie & the "Chin Dr."...

She has what our ped. said was a skin tag on her chin (she has had it since she was an infant). It has really changed in appearance (it actually fell off last Fall & came back), so on Friday, March 6th I took her in to have it looked at it. Turns out it is a wart. I was a little miffed that I have been told that is was skin tag repeatedly. Anyway, we had to go to the dermatologist to have it removed. I was a little nervous in that it was right on her chin bone & it would hurt to get it off. We told her we were going to the skin Dr. & she now says the "chin" Dr., lol.

Once there, Sadie was AMAZING!

Before they did a thing, the PA said that most kids her age freak out so bad during the shot that they can't finish the procedure. She had me really nervous, but I told her that Sadie has never given me a problem with shots or even when she was cathed for a UTI.

Sadie did not cry, move or even say ouch. They gave her a shot in her chin to numb the area, they cut it off & then used liquid nitrogen to freeze the base. Sadie just laid there calm as could be.

It is so relieving to have one child who doesn't freak out. Sasha would have been such a mess that we might not have been able to do it.

So, YAY...it is gone & I hope she was able to "kill" the virus & it doesn't come back.
